Award winners of 2010

In the year of 2010, I picked 9 cases out. One of them was the winner of the centaury.

• five cases in America: brazil (2), Washington, Kentucky, Arizona
• two cases in Europe: Netherlands, Romania
• one in south Africa and
• one in South Korea

He was a middle-aged man in the wheelchair wanting to roll on to an elevator in south Korea, but before he could enter it, the doors closed right in front of his nose. Filled with anger, the man rolled his chair several times against the closed elevator doors, until eventually the doors gave in and he drove into the empty elevator shaft straight to his death. IT was all caught on a CCTV camera.



We all know that Brazil has a very high crime rate, and several people have come up with a way to protect themselves. One man in in Brazil built an electric fence around his car outside his house. In the morning, forgotten that the fence was there, he died of the electric shock, when trying to open his car, What happened to just renting a garage?


I would just like to point out that all of the Darwin award winners I have looked at so far are men.
